The BRIGhTMIND trial, led by Neuromod+ member Richard Morriss at Nottingham University, has reported that the use of TMS in conjunction with MRI scans could ease symptoms of depression for up to six months. See details of the study “Connectivity-guided intermittent theta burst versus repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for treatment-resistant depression: a randomized controlled trial” reported in Nature Medicine, and reports in the media, including by UKRI and The Independent.
