I'm currently developing a brain phantom to quantify the effect deep brain stimulation electrodes have on the strain profile in brain tissue under different loading conditions. Specifically motion caused by breathing and vascular pulsation, transmitted external vibrations or motion to the implant via tethering tools and motion that arises from rapid head acceleration or entire body movement.I would like to see how this phantom could be applied other methods of neuromodulation.
