National Consortium for Neurotechnology Meeting with Regulators
6 August @ 10:00 - 16:00
With support from Innovate UK, MHRA and OLS, we have recently established the
National Consortium for Neurotechnology. The purpose of this regulatory
network is to further the clinical translation of neurotechnology safely and
efficiently in the UK. We are hosting a workshop with colleagues from MHRA,
DHSC and DSIT in-person on August 6th 2024, 10am-4pm, at Newcastle University,
to discuss regulatory bottlenecks and identify the key components of an open
framework for performing human clinical studies.
The event will feature talks, panel discussion and networking opportunities.
Keynote presentations will be given by Freya Rowland (Head of Medical Devices
Regulatory Policy, DHSC) and Mark Grumbridge (Head of Clinical Investigations,
MHRA).
