About the event
Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders are amongst the most pressing mental health enigmas of the current age. Although several advances have been made in recent years, no unifying theory of the neurobiological underpinnings currently exists.
Join us at our 2024 seminar this November, as we bring together leading academics to allow us to understand cutting-edge advances from world class experts in the field. Previous proceedings of the seminars can be found in the Oxford Academic Schizophrenia Bulletin and Comprehensive Psychiatry.
This seminar will be of interest to psychiatrists, psychologists, neuroscientists, and researchers in the field reflecting on the path to understand these complex disorders.
Our 2024 seminar speakers include:
- Prof Robin Murray, King’s College London
- Prof Paul Fletcher, University of Cambridge
- Prof Carrie Beardon, University of California, Los Angeles
- Prof Bill Deakin, University of Manchester
- Prof Saeed Farooq, University of Keele
With a note of thanks delivered by Professor Peter Liddle (University of Nottingham).
